Imagine yourself in the east with this beautiful Eastern Sunset Shawl! This large shawl measures 200 x 50 cm and consists of 3 parts where different techniques are used. The first part is knitted in garter stitch, part 2 is mosaic knitting and part 3 contains a lace pattern. The techniques are clearly explained on the basis of descriptions and diagrams.

This pattern requires 1 yarn cake Scheepjes Whirligig, with additionally in a matching colour 1 ball Scheepjes Whirligigette . Margje used the colours Whirligig 209 Plum to Red and Whirligigette 251 Plum for her scarf. The Eastern Sunset Shawl is knitted with needle thickness 3.50 mm straight needles or an 80 cm long 3.50 mm circular needle.
