Rainbows never fail to inspire crafters worldwide with their vibrant and magical displays of colours which literally brighten up our lives! The 6th issue of Pretty Little Things celebrates these wonderful explosions of colour by sharing 3 brightly-coloured designs; a scarf, a cushion and a blanket - each made using different crafts. No matter how small, a colourful design provides a welcome splash of colour to our days.
The first design is the captivating knitted Spectrum Scarf designed by Amanda Beaumont, showcasing all the awe-inspiring hues of the rainbow as well as the gradual colour gradient of the beloved Scheepjes Whirl yarns. The finished scarf measures 54cm along the diagonal x 205cm long after blocking.
The final pattern featured in this issue of Pretty Little Things is the marvellous Octo-Rainbow Blanket designed by Elise Verra and crocheted with Scheepjes Chunky Monkey yarns. A hexagonal arch adds a modern and quirky touch to this small blanket, and playful tassels complete the look.
