COTTON CREATE

Scheepjes presents the official Scheepjes Crochet-A-Long 2025: Universe in Bloom. The CAL runs from October 8th to December 17th, 2025. In twelve weeks, you will crochet a gorgeous blanket. Designed by Dedri Uys, the project is bursting with lovely colours, playful textures, and smart techniques. The CAL invites both adventurous beginners and advanced crocheters on a journey of skill and imagination. With Dedri's step-by-step instructions and the support of the Scheepjes community, participants will bring their Universe in Bloom blanket to life each week. You can crochet the blanket with Scheepjes Colour Crafter or Scheepjes Cotton Create. For each yarn option, you have the freedom to choose one of the suggested colours or create your own unique colour combination.

To participate in this CAL, Scheepjes invites each crafter to join the official Facebook groups, where support and expertise are always available in the form of experienced moderators and admins. The (inter)national Scheepjes Community is also available for help and support. Weekly photo and video tutorials will be available in English via Dedri's blog Look At What I Made. Dutch video tutorials will be provided by Michael Wassenaar from Mike's Creatieve Wereld. Both Dedri and Mike will be active in the Facebook groups during the CAL to offer support and exchange ideas with the participants.

Cotton Create kit

The yarn is packed in a sturdy plastic bag. Each yarn pack comes with two lovely extras: a large tote bag with a beautiful print and a set of Tulip stitch markers. The Cotton Create kit is available in three different colour combinations: Earth, Galaxy, and Seaside. The finished blanket, made with Scheepjes Cotton Create, will measure approximately 145 x 145 cm after blocking. Supplied per 1 kit.
