This beautiful Lola was the inspiration for the Lola Goddess Collection. Lola Alethea is the jewel in the crown. With a deep purple edging, it is complimented by the soft lavender, tones and a heart of silver. Her soft pastel tones will bring pure delight as the yarn dances across your fingers. 

About the Colourway Designer - Alethea Sotiropoulous

At BelleMae Yarns we are so lucky to have gorgeous customers who design the most exquisite Lolas.

The talented Alethea Sotiropoulos designed her own Lola colourway and as soon as it arrived I just knew it had to be part of the 3rd year anniversary collection for BMY. Aletha's colour choice is breath taking and as I am sure you will agree, with her carefully and meticulous colour choices each colour compliments the next colour change but finishes with a bold and strong colour.....just like a Goddess telling it how it is! 

 'Alethea'  from The Lola Goddess collection was the inspiring Lola for this collection it really struck a cord and took me on a real colourway journey designing complimentary. So this year we have not one, not two, but 5 colourways for you to choose from. Inspired by Alethea's Goddess name we have created the Goddess Collection, and the fun does not stop there! 

About the Pattern Designer - Seona Roberts from Hounouring M.E Crochet

The very talented Seona Roberts from Honouring M.E has been working behind the scenes (and sworn to secrecy) with BelleMae Yarns to design the most amazing  pattern. And that is exactly what she did! Tittled  'IRIS - Greek Goddess of the Rainbow' this pattern has been written specifically for the colourways of the Goddess Lola collection. The pattern is so clever that it can be a table runner, a blanket, a shawl, the most gorgeous poncho or even a set of coasters! The list really is endless and so adaptive between even your preference of ply. Yes she is that talented! It is just a matter of working the pattern into your desired item by following the carefully scripted instructions that Seona has also spoilt us with. About The Colourways:

Following on from the inspiration of Alethea, each colourway has the exactly the same matching middle colours, they were designed this way to bring the entire Goddess Lola collection together. So should you wish to mix and match your Goddess Lolas you can by having a central colour point. Each colourway also gradually works out through a soft pastel range from its main colour and finishes with an a strong bold punchy colour that works well as a boarder or is a complimentary colourway to the other Goddess Lolas and could be worked together.

About The Yarn:

Lola is made up of INDIVIDUAL threads which are NOT plied to make one thread. A 4ply Lola will have 4 individual threads. This is a cotton acrylic product and has a soft and lightweight feel to it. The yarn is washes and wears beautifully and will showcase your every stitch.
