With beautifully soft fibres, DK weight Woolwise is light, breathable and ideal for crafting garments and accessories. Trapping heat for winter warmth and wicking moisture to keep wearers cool in the summer, it is suitable for year-round projects, from spring sweaters to snug hats. Offering excellent stitch definition, it is superb for colourwork projects and with a palette of 60 shades in the collection, all tastes are catered for.
Woolwise is not only pleasurable to work with, it is also practical. The Superwash fibres can be washed on a 30-degree cycle, making projects easy to care for without the risk of shrinkage or felting, which is often a concern with traditional wool yarns. This makes it particularly appealing to those who craft children’s clothing, home textiles and anything that requires more frequent washing. However, to save water, where possible leave out to air instead. Pure wool is a remarkable material with a natural ability to keep itself clean.

Scheepjes Woolwise is a Superwash yarn. Projects made with Woolwise can be machine washed on a wool wash programme, without any risk of shrinking or felting. However, pure wool is a special material with natural self-cleaning properties. To save water, we recommend simply letting projects made with Woolwise air outside.
