To celebrate BelleMae Yarns' second anniversary, we released 3 colourways. 'The Mira Trio' exclusive to BelleMae Yarns.
Mira Dixon has certainly got the touch when it comes to colourways, great colour combinations just seem to flow from her fingers. When Mira designed these three colourways earlier in the year I just knew they had to be the limited editions to celebrate BelleMae Yarns second anniversary. The trio include, Magnificent, Fire and Ice.
Fire was originally designed as part of a Lola duo 'Fire & Ice'. Fire certainly features all the hot colours, with a red hot centre out to yellow sunshine, a perfect colourway to take you into the Australian Summer.
Lola is a handmade product from Germany. With an extensive range of gradient yarns in the collection it can make it difficult to choose just one! Lola is quite a generous stranded yarn with 1125m made from a soft and durable cotton/acrylic. Lola comes in 4ply but can also be made to custom order with different stranded combinations available on request. Each colour change is hand tied with a minuscule knot which can easily be disguised in your project, creating an effect that is soft with subtle colour changes. Lola can be used to create projects such as blankets, shawls and mandalas but just as the colour choices of Lola are endless so too are the project options. Lola also has and added personal touch with the signature of the person who hand wound the Lola signed on the product label.
